About Morat Law
Allison Morat is an appellate attorney that has over a decade of experience handling appeals. During her career, she has served as lead counsel in over 200 appeals, and has successfully handled appeals in every Florida District Court of Appeal, as well as the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Until 2024, Allison was a partner at a Central Florida litigation firm. Allison founded Morat Law to focus exclusively on appeals and trial support. She has a passion for writing, developing legal strategies, and helping her clients navigate difficult issues within the appellate court system.
A Florida native, Allison graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. degree in English Literature. She graduated from Barry Law School in 2012. While at Barry, Allison interned with the Honorable Judge Ursula Ungaro in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Allison is a member of the George C. Young American Inn of Court, the Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section, Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and Seminole Florida Association of Women Lawyers

I have extensive experience representing clients in state appellate courts. I am familiar with the appellate rules and procedures in a variety of state courts and have successfully argued appeals in numerous jurisdictions.

I am skilled at writing persuasive motions and appellate briefs in appellate matters. I have a deep understanding of the rules and procedures for filing motions in appellate courts.
